Vehicle Description Packard revised its premium line of 12-cylinder motorcars with added stroke and new aluminum cylinder heads in 1935, the year this 1935 Packard Twelve Seven-Passenger Limousine was assembled.
Now said to be on its third owner, who says he has owned the car since 2015, the Packard was reportedly purchased new in Los Angeles by the silent film comic legend Harold Lloyd and was evaluated for possible inclusion in the famed Nethercutt Collection of historic automobiles.
Described as original except for one repaint, an engine rebuild, and the reupholstering of its rear passenger compartment, this Packard, intended to be a chauffeur-driven car, is also said to have a functional Dictaphone device for the rear-seat occupant and driver communication and a rear-seat AM radio.
The seller claims $150,000 in refurbishment costs beyond the car's price.
