The 1941 model 19th Series Packard was introduced with an entirely new design that truly pulled a modern appeal for buyers of the era.
The former bucket headlights were now incorporated into the fenders along with the parking lamps, rounder fenders with upscale horizontal stainless trim accents front & rear, isolated running boards, simplified side engine trim that incorporated the hood release, opening rear window without the center divider, tail lamps moved to the body, while the fuel tank finally found a gas door to hide the filler.
EXTERIOROverall exterior condition is 9.
5/10 with excellent paint finish (recently clay-barred and waxed)There are 2 small paint chips:
lower front end and trunk lid edge, there is also a small fine crack at the trailing edge of the top of the passenger door.
All have been touched up.
All the brightwork has either been 'Triple Chrome-Plated' or buffed to a high luster.
All shut lines are perfect as is the opening and closing of:
Hood, Doors and Trunk lid.

These features and the 127 wheelbase ensure a smooth capable ride at all speeds.
Additionally, a newer 316 tig welded stainless steel 18-gallon fuel tank and new sending unit.
The undercarriage is completely rust free and detailed.
INTERIORThe interior is equipped with an optional combination of Burgundy Leather and Beige Bedford Cloth.

A new Battery and Electric Fuel Pump were added in July 2023.
A Water Pump Rebuild was completed in May 2022.
The vehicle starts well:
Turn on the Ignition Switch, allow fuel pump 3 seconds to prime the fuel bowl, depress pedal once (fully) to set choke and fast idle, push starter button.
The vehicle will start on the 1st or 2nd turn and the fast idle will come off after 30 seconds or on a single kick.
There is no smoke from the exhaust and there are no leaks from any drivetrain components.
The Packard will pull strongly away in 1st Gear (if desired) I normally pull away in 2nd as the low-end torque is more than sufficient.
The Clutch and Flywheel were inspected during the Engine Overhaul and nothing untoward was noted there is no shudder on acceleration.
