Vehicle Description 1965 Ford ThunderbirdOffered here is a very reasonably priced 1965 Ford Thunderbird.
This California Black Plate car was discovered on a ranch at an Estate Sale, in the Santa Ynez Valley very close to Santa Barbara.
The car appears to have had one repaint in the past.
The Senior lady owner who has since passed-away, reportedly had the engine rebuilt.
The V/8 supposedly has only 100 miles since that time but we cannot verify that fact.
This information was supplied to us from a tenant at the property who used to drive her around in the car on errands.
The vehicle needs two new door panels and a muffler.
The driver's side seat-back had a tear and the owner sent it off to be repaired at the time of the photographs.
The seat-back is now installed in the car.
The vehicle also appears to be solid rust-wise, with the exception of the trunk area.
It regretably was parked-outside for some time and moisture damaged the area.
I didn't have the vehicle on a lift, but the floor panels still have the Ford factory undercoating and the door bottoms look intact.
(please see photos).
If you are seeking a project T-Bird of this era you have located your vehicle.
With a little TLC this Ford will come up very presentable.
