Bob Roes was a ships master and bought this car as a reward when he got his Master's ticket in 1956, being a seaman it spent most of its life garaged while he was at sea and only saw the light of day on high-days and holidays.
It has a purported 18,000 original miles.
The car is still beautiful after a thorough restoration in 1990 costing 27000 which in todays dollars is about $65,000.
This is an estate sale and as the car has been sitting for a year or two we have spent about $6000 on recommissioning.
The license plate on the car is the original issue.
There is a soft top in excellent shape.
