Vehicle Description 2008 Porsche 911 C4 Carrera 4 Cabriolet 6-Speed with WarrantyThis gorgeous, Basalt Black Metallic 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet with a manual 6-speed is the perfect driver's experience-and includes a comprehensive bumper-to-bumper warranty that lasts into June, 2024! This car has had no accidents and comes with a clean Washington title in the seller's name.
Exterior FeaturesWith just under 50K miles on the odometer, this beauty has been carefully maintained, driven only about 3,500 miles per year on average.
Being a Carrera 4, this 997.
1 generation 911 has a 3.
6-liter flat-six that drives all four 19? Carrera Sport wheels-making Porsche's legendary cornering capabilities even more impressive.
Note the beautiful flared rear wheel wells in the photos:
Carrera 4 911s feature wider rear bodywork when compared to the standard Carrera.
Also, this model includes Porsche Sport Exhaust as indicated by the quad exhaust pipes.
The convertible top is original and is in overall great shape.
The one area of minor fabric fray is highlighted in the photos.
There are also some typical creasing from folding/unfolding the top, and 2 marks or stains from a previous owner (possibly from stickers that were placed on the top at some point?).
The convertible top mechanism is fully functional, automatically raising and lowering both the top and both side windows with the touch of a button.
Other exterior features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, bi-xenon headlights, paint protection film applied to the front end, door edges, and leading edges of the rear quarter panels.
The entire vehicle was recently detailed, including applying ceramic paint protectant.
Interior FeaturesThe interior is finished in Sand Beige leather and features heated, power-adjustable front seats (with driver's seat and side mirror position memory); PCM with navigation; CD player, automatic climate control, cruise control, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
Original black floor mats with the Porsche logo are installed in each footwell.
Original tire pump, puncture repair sealant, and tow hook all come with the car and are discretely secured in their storage spaces under the front storage trunk's floor mat.
The car also comes with a Porsche-designed windshield shadescreen that perfectly covers the car to help keep it cool when parked in the sun.
Finally, one original Porsche remote-control key fob is included, along with a complete set of owner's manuals in the original leather binder.
I'm also including a second manual key I had made that (manually) unlocks the door and will turn the ignition; it just doesn't have the remote control functionality-but it's perfect as a backup/spare key.
Warranty (Comprehensive Third-Party Service Contract)As mentioned previously, a huge value-add for the buyer of this car is the inclusion of a fully transferrable, comprehensive service contract (warranty) that was purchased from the dealer at the time I bought the car in 2022.
Valid into June 2024, this Ultimate XP contract by Xtended Auto/CornerStone United is a top-of-the-line, no-holds-barred coverage.
Details of coverage are provided in the photos, but most everything except the clutch is covered (and I paid for a brand-new clutch in 2022)! Here's a quote directly from the company's brochure (bold text comes from the brochure):
Ultimate XP is Coverage so comprehensive that if it's not on the short list of exclusions, it is covered.
My own experience with this warranty is very positive.
I'm happy to report that when the clutch was replaced and the mechanic discovered the shaft seal was leaking, this contract helped cover the cost (after the deductible).
Even better, the mechanic was able to bill the company directly, so I had no hassle with paying everything up-front and then battling with them for reimbursement.
Instead, I just paid the difference between what the mechanic's bill was for the seal and my deductible.
This contract cost me thousands of dollars, but I felt it was worth it to give me peace of mind when buying such an expensive, high-performance car.
The knowledge that this contract would cover virtually all repairs is something I can pass on to the new owner.
I can make the complete contract available for a potential buyer to review.
I'd also recommend contacting my mechanic (Spec German in Gig Harbor-best Porsche shop in the Seattle metro area!) to confirm their ability to work directly with the warranty company.
