Vehicle Description The floating grille bar at the front of this charming Anglo-American sporting hybrid identifies this 1954 Nash Metropolitan Convertible as a Series II example, produced after the first 10,000 cars were built, and distinguished mechanically by its Austin B-series engine, new transmission, and hydraulic clutch.
One of 11,198 Metropolitans shipped to the United States that year, this Nash is described as beautifully restored and a trophy winner, with an odometer reading that the seller says is accurate.
The Metropolitan is reported to have won first place at every show in which it was entered, and to have a great finish that was applied by a previous owner.
