Vehicle Description 1935 Chrysler Airflow C1 2-Door CoupeThis custom 1935 Chrysler Airflow C1 2-door coupe (one of 71 built in 35) was a 4.
5-year labor of love, passion, old-fashioned quality and ingenuity built by the owner in his shop.
Very few of these two-door coupes exist and were typically referred to as a Traveler's Salesman car.
The all-original-steel straight body is powered by a 6.
1-liter HEMI engine with an Edelbrock supercharger and 545 RFE automatic transmission with a 9-inch Ford rear end.
The car rides on a modified Heidt Mustang II front end with an Art Morrison rear clip and Wilwood brakes, and is finished off with Boyd Coddington wheels.
The body, paint and interior were completed by Armando's Custom Upholstery in San Jacinto, CA.
The two-toned Ghost Green paint is a custom PPG mix.
The interior features two-tone light cream and light tan leather with handmade chrome trim on the headliner and doors, Chrysler insignia on the rear seat, along with fabricated 1935-era matching luggage disguising the gas tank under the rear trunk lid.
The interior also features power windows, a Vintage Air system, the original steering wheel and a custom center console.
