Vehicle Description DetailsThis 1962 MG MGA 1600 Mark II is powered by a rebuilt 1.

The 5-digit odometer reads 18,618 miles, but the actual mileage of the car is unknown.
It is located in Collierville, Tennessee.
This MGA was inspected and photographed by a third party.
The car shows well on the exterior and interior.
The paint does have some flaws that are consistent with the age of the car, but it is still in presentable condition.
Some areas of previous bodywork are starting to show their age.
The chrome grille still looks presentable, and the interior looks better than one would expect from a car of this age, considering it has been re-trimmed.
The black convertible top is in good condition but not currently installed on the vehicle.
Mechanically, the car runs and drives as intended by the manufacturer, but the inspection does note some seepage from the transmission.
The car is offered with the service manual and tonneau cover.

About the modelThe final variant of the MG A to be introduced was the MKII.
The MGA MKII had few changes in relation to the 1500:
the engine was a larger 90hp 1622cc inline-four, the front grill was re-engineered, and the tail lamps were shared with the Morris Mini.
In addition, it has higher gearing from the factory in order to give customers a more relaxed high-speed driving experience.
The De-Lux version of the Mk II was an option, with the Twin-Cam chassis, knock-off solid wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The lifespan of the MG A Mk II was short, with production only lasting for two short years from 1960 to 1962.
