Vehicle Description This Zenith Blue over black vinyl 1968 Volkswagen Type 1 Beetle Sedan was reportedly a barn find, which the seller says looks and runs great.
The cars were officially referred to as Type 1 Sedans until the 1968 model year, which is when VW officially started calling the cars Beetles.
That is also the year the Beetle made its big screen debut as Herbie in The Love Bug.
Noted for being one of the most produced cars in history, some 21 million of the little dome-shaped sedans were built between 1938 and 2003, which is when the car finally went out of production in all markets.
