Vehicle Description 1964 Ford Ranchero daily runner.
Listing expiring soon on 20 March 2024.
Get the offers in asap! We bought the car as it sits with the exception of adding the tonneau cover, rear air shocks, and having it professionally tuned.
This car is in great shape with a rebuilt engine and tranny.
This is a definite head-turner.
It has the look.
The ghost flames on the hood are a subtle touch to the beast that lays within.
No matter where we go people stop and ask about the Ranchero.
Stop lights, grocery stores, and gas stations, heads turn and fans give us the thumbs up or positive comments.
The previous owner built this 302 engine from the ground up so incidentally it is a bit hot-rodded up.
The sound of the engine and power are well above a stock 302 V8.
The power lays you back in the custom electric bucket seats.
It has never been tested to obtain a horsepower rating.
We did take it to a mechanic and have it tuned to be a daily driver.
The wife primarily drives this every other day to and from work.
So, with that being said, the 600W Sony Xplod system is unplugged from the stereo.
She got tired of being blown away by turning on the car after I got done driving.
I usually had the stereo system a bit loud to win over the roar of the engine! Speaking of which, sometimes it's just as awesome while driving listing to the hum of the engine with the stereo off.
When I drive this car, my hair grows back, I decrease in age, and all the ladies are looking at me! Not much room behind the seats because the Xplod system and two large thumpers take up much of the room.
No worries though; the tonneau cover rises up so you can throw your groceries in the back.
The car has been professionally lowered.
I'm being told the front-end suspension assembly is from a Mustang with disc brakes.
