Vehicle Description 1949 Packard Standard 8 SedanThis 1949 Packard Standard Eight features six-passenger touring sedan bodywork finished in green with a white roof over tan plaid cloth upholstery.
Power comes from a 288ci L-head straight-eight paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, and features include chrome bumpers, a hood ornament, a sun visor, fender skirts, a painted woodgrain dashboard, a heater, and an AM radio.
This late 22nd Series Packard was purchased by the selling dealer in 2022, and it is now offered with a clean California title.
Packard did not adhere to the standard model year coding system until 1951, and the 22nd Series Standard Eight was built from August 1947 to May 1949.
Standard Eights built after November 1, 1948, left the factory as 2200-9 models for 1949 registration purposes, including this example.
The car was repainted in green with a white roof under previous ownership, and it features chrome bumpers and trim, a side-hinged hood with a hood ornament, an antenna, a driver-side mirror, a sun visor, and fender skirts.
