Vehicle Description 1964 Buick Skylark ConvertibleV-8 (300cid) iron block aluminum heads & intake with 4bbl Rochester (water choke).
Borg Warner T-10 manual four speed with Hurst shifter.
Frame off disassembly.
Frame & components were sandblasted & powder coated.
New suspension bushings in A arms & rear control arms.
New frame mounts.
New ball joints, new shocks, new sway bars front (1 5/16) & rear (1.
0).
New brake lines, fuel lines, and u-joints.
Motor:
Ran fine when we got the car but had a slight lag on acceleration.
Intake manifold, valve covers, and oil pan were removed for inspection.
Inside the motor was extremely clean like what you would find in a new motor.
But when the timing cover was removed the factory nylon timing gear was still in place with a worn timing chain.
Timing chain and gears were replaced with steel gears.
New water pump was installed and the carburetor was rebuilt.
VIN number on motor matches VIN on car.
Body:
Was taken down to bare metal.
Parts of the floor & trunk were replaced.
Body received a primer powder coat.
Radiator support, inner fenders, & bumper brackets are powder coated.
Glass:
New tinted side glass was added.
Weatherstripping:
New doors, trunk, hood, & top.
New gas tank & sending unit.
New radiator & hoses.
Heater box disassembled & rebuilt with new parts.
Steering column was disassembled & new parts added.
New steering wheel.
Interior:
New white leather seats & door panels.
New black carpet & Buick floor mats.
Rare Ironing Board console.
New convertible top (Midnight Blue), new boot (dark blue), new hydraulic pump and cylinders.
Radio:
New Custom Auto Sound (AM/FM) with USB hookup and new speakers.
Brakes:
New power discs front (Master Power) and new drums in rear.
Wheels:
5 New GM Rally powder coated Laser Blue 15x8 .
Tires:
New Cooper Cobra GT 235/60R15.
Bumpers were re chromed.
Exhaust system:
New 2 1/4 pipes with new Walker mufflers.
Clutch:
New clutch, pressure plate & release bearing.
Misc.
New Parts:
Wipers, washer pump, window cranks, antenna.
