For Sale: 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme in Bennington, Vermont for sale in Bennington, VT
Vehicle Description 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Holiday HardtopHere is a straight out of the factory Cutlass Supreme of a body style rarely seen anymore, all original with only 34k original miles.
Yes, it's your father's Oldsmobile !It's a survivor and so far has been very well preserved.
The color is Autumn Gold poly (dark brown metallic) with a matching brown vinyl top, and Gold interior.
It is equipped with a 350 4bbl, 3-speed turbo hydramatic, power steering and brakes and runs and drives as you would expect of a very low mileage car.
I use it regularly, and therefore have had a mechanic thoroughly check it out and address anything it has needed to keep it maintained and running perfectly, and safely.
This car was obviously garaged and maintained over the years, but it's original paint needed spot touch up, so it was accomplished in the original color, very nicely done over a fender and doors by a previous owner.
The paint remains excellent throughout although there is one nick touched up on the passenger side A pillar near the windshield.
The interior is original, and remarkable and includes the original GM color coordinated floor mats.
It is in nearly new condition with very little wear, and no fading or cracking.
Even the steering wheel is without any cracks or separation as you often see.
The chrome is original, and very nice, though not show quality.
The hood has a dent at the nose of the hood separating the grilles, but it hasn't compromised the paint.
I've included it in the photos.
The body panels are razor straight and rust free with the exception of several bubbles starting under the vinyl roof covering.
Everything works as it should:
heater, 3-speed blower, AM radio, tape deck, wipers, lights, brights, turn signals and horn.
It even still has the original T3 headlamps.
The fuel gauge is inoperative at the moment.
The engine compartment and undercarriage are untouched and original, though very clean.
The trunk is immaculate.
The car is rust free with solid body panels.
Everything operates as it should.
The tires are new radial, the muffler is new and the trunk has the spare and complete jack.
The original manuals and protecto-plate are with the car, along with interesting showroom sales materials and brochures, a couple of eight track tapes and a few misc.
extra parts.
I use the car regularly for short errands and pleasure drives, so it falls into the High Quality Driver or Preservation category of collectibles.
It could be taken to the next level quite easily if interested, or certainly proudly driven and shown as is.
A new package tray for behind the rear seatback comes with the car as the original shows sun damage.
There is also a complete set of new OEM window cranks with the clear plastic knobs, as the original ones have yellowed as they commonly do.
Please ask any questions you may have, and feel free to request additional pictures/videos that might address specific things.
This classic is a pleasure to use and needs very little to perfect it.
I am selling it because at my age and with my classics bucket list it's time to move on to the next one.
There are coupes and convertibles for sale on the web everywhere - at a much higher cost - but when was the last time you saw a classic Cutlass 4 door pillarless hardtop? Must admit, it strikes a handsome profile!.
