After its last service, the local Toyota dealer put the car in their showroom since it is in such fine condition (see pictures).
We're very fond of this car, which my wife has nicknamed Little Red.
She has babied for 34 years, but now wants to find a new, caring owner who will enjoy it as much as she has.
Similar in appearance to the 1990 Porsche 944, this is the most reliable and classy generation of Celica that Toyota made.
This car was loaded when purchased in 1991.
5-speed manual.
Tilt-adjustable steering wheel.
Driver's side airbag.
Power door locks.
Rear defogger.
Fog lights.
Power mirrors.
AM/FM Cassette with CD player, 10-speaker sound system, power antenna.
Grey leather interior in good condition.
Uses regular gas, gets 21mpg city, 26mpg highway.
Engine is a fuel-injected, 16-valve 2.
2L inline 4-cylinder.
Horsepower is 130 hp @ 5,400 rpm, torque is 140 lb-ft @ 4,400 rpm.
New timing belt at 124,700 mi.
New Vredestein Sprint
tires.
Four-wheel ABS disc brakes.
Aluminum alloy wheels.
Body work was recently done to eliminate rust on the hatchback and restore paint (that was oxidized in some areas) to showroom condition.
The only significant flaw is that the cup holder doesn't lock into place.
It works, though, and can accommodate cans of beverages.
Peppy and fun to drive.
Asking $13,500.
Two comps:
(a) 1993 GTS with 173K mi that sold for $10k; (b) 1990 GT with 90K mi that sold for $14,250.
Both were sold in the US.

  • If an offer sounds too good to be true, it is. Walk away!
