Vehicle Description Originally campaigned by John Angeles and later by Angeles and Pete McCarthy, Lil Pancho is a 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV race car that was reportedly the first GTO to run 10s in NHRA competition.
It was also said to be a test bed for round-port headers developed by Jerry Jardine and Doug Thorley.
A 1979 newsletter from H-O Specialties describes the car running SS/HA and qualifying with a 10.
98 at the Winston World Championship Series, in California.
The seller purchased the car in 1992 and raced it occasionally before restoring it.
The sale also includes a vintage 28-foot enclosed trailer for the GTO.
