For Sale: 2004 Volkswagen Phaeton in Bennington, Vermont for sale in Bennington, VT
Vehicle Description 2004 Volkswagen Phaeton V8.
I have the entire service history for this car from delivery.
$24,000 in receipts.
It's been a daily driver for me every winter for the past three years and has never let me down.
The exterior is a 9.
3 out of 10 and the interior is a 9.
8 out of ten.
I have enclosed pics of the front bumper/hood to illustrate.
Bentley continental 19 inch wheels.
It is an extremely clean and well kept car.
7k miles ago it did develop the slight flare shift where in high rpm it will sometimes shift in to fifth and then immediately back into fourth, then slowly back into fifth and then sixth.
This is either due to the valve body (1500 dollar fix) or internal to transmission ($3,500 fix).
I spoke with the top specialist on this transmission and the good news is that the car can still be driven normally without damaging it and I have done so the past 7K.
When driving normally around town the car shifts fine and you don't notice it.
It does have the typical Phaeton front bumper cracks.
I had the bumper repaired the day I bought the car but then some jerk off must have tapped it while it was parallel parked and cracked it again.
Everything in this car works.
Windows, locks, sunroof, etc.
NO LIGHTS on dash.
Oil cooler pipe was upgraded to billet (very expensive repair) and the air suspension is PERFECT.
$8700 OBO Cash only, no Trades.
Mileage will continue to go up as I do drive the car occasionally.
