Vehicle Description This 1969 Volkswagen Type 2 Single-Cab Pickup was built in VW's Brazilian factory, which continued building the original-style pickup and bus (T1 series) until 1975, eight years after the German factory's switch to the redesigned T2. This teal and cream painted pickup is reported to have been restored in 2023 and then imported to the U. S. by the selling dealer. He indicates a rebuilt engine from a later-model Kombi, though it still wears the original 1500 badge on the rear. The utility bed features drop-down sides and pressure-treated wood bed slats. .
