NEWS/CALENDARS CLERK The Bennington Banner newsroom has an opening available for a full-time news and calendars clerk.
The position is 40 hours per week (eight hours per day, Monday-Friday).
Responsibilities include processing press releases, sorting through daily emails, updating the website, building daily and features calendars for publication in print and online, along with the preparation of other news materials.
The position also entails answering the phone and greeting visitors.
Applicants should be highly organized and possess excellent typing, word-processing and editing and basic computer skills; database and content management system experience is helpful.
Previous related experience is preferred.
