Summary:
Set up, operate, or tend laser cutter to get the best speed, accuracy, consistency and level of detail for the best cutting results.
Tasks:
Give directions to other workers regarding machine setup and use.
Set up, operate, and tend machine to get the best cutting results according to specs.
Create cutting nest per specific specifications.
Load or feed workpieces into laser cutting machine Correct problems by adjusting controls, or by stopping machines and opening holding devices.
Turn and press knobs and buttons, or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start Laser Cutting machine.
Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids, and hand tools.
Complete Process documentation (route cards, work orders, drawings, reporting production).
Maintain a clean work area Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
