Director of Product & Underwriting Operations

We have a current opportunity for a Director of Product & Underwriting Operations on a permanent basis.
The position will be based in Bennington VT.
The Director of Product & Underwriting Operations will be responsible for two distinct but related functions:
Product Management and Underwriting Operations.
Responsibilities Include:
Act as the lead underwriting contact for system vendor partners and information technology services, staying current with all system changes, underwriting functionality, user accessibility and performance issues.
Keep up to date on ISO rule, rate and coverage changes; working with actuary, claims, agency and underwriting leadership to implement agreed upon adjustments to the product offering.
Continuously assess CIC product offering against direct competitors and make/create recommendations to ensure the product and service offering is relevant, contemporary and affordable.
Work collaboratively with CPG Regulatory Compliance staff on regulatory issues including but not limited to:
Internal investigation of compliance issues.
Gaps identified and suggestions for resolution.
Response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
Filing of appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies.

years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience, 3+yrs of experience in a product development role drafting and developing policy forms.
o 3+yrs years of experience in a product development role drafting and developing policy forms.
o Professional P&C designation(s) preferred but not limited to Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
o BABS degree preferred or combination of skills and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
