Qualifications:
Associates degree in mental health or a related field and/or at least 5 years of experience of relevant human services and/or emergency services with a focus on trauma/crisis response.
Education and training in trauma-informed care and related mental health certifications desired.
Qualified Mental Health Professional within 1 year of start date.

RequirementsProvide crisis support to individuals struggling with various challenges including mental health and substance misuse.
Provide referral to resources that offer support and treatment to individuals struggling with mental health and substance misuse.
Resource referrals may include clinical treatment, peer supports, housing, financial, medical, legal, transportation, food insecurity and employment.
Assist law enforcement in providing crisis support on calls to stabilize and connect individuals to the proper system of care.
Provide referrals for ongoing care for community members who have used law enforcement as a service entry point regularly to divert them to proper service providers without engaging with law enforcement.
CONSULTATION AND EDUCATION SERVICES:
Provides mental health and/or substance abuse consultation to community at large, area agencies, the professional community and/or schools as required.
Consultation can be educational or evaluative in nature.
Specific areas of consultation/education are based on clinician's areas of expertise or interest.
Provides liaison services between two sponsoring agencies so as to coordinate services to clients.
CLINICAL CASE MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL SUPPORT:
Provides concurrent case management services on an as needed basis.
These services may include service coordination with other agencies and services; collateral contacts with other family members or significant others in client's life; telephone support to clients or collaterals; social support services for locating, developing, or providing care services; or treatment planning session.
CLINICAL RECORD-KEEPING:
Initiates and maintains in a timely and thorough manner the wide variety of record keeping and administrative documentation required to account for our services to clients.
Such work includes, but is not limited to, client specific assessments, case services and progress notes, time sheets, schedules, billing reports to third party payors, and assigned periodic reports.
ADMINISTRATIVE, AGENCY, AND CLINICAL TEAM MEETINGS:
Attends and actively participates in the necessary coordinative, administrative, and clinical meetings designed to inform, problem solve, and coordinate services and programs.
Salary Description Salary Range $49,004.
80-$54,433.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
