The primary function is to ensure that the corporate vehicles and equipment are mechanically secure and maintained preventively. This is a full time, year-round position that is benefit eligible. Experience: Experience working on small to medium equipment, knowledgeable about mechanics, electrical systems, welding, etc. must be well versed in trouble-shooting electrical- hydraulic systems, golf equipment operation. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of software on equipmentKnowledge of the game of golf is helpfulWelding experience preferredMust be a team playerMust be willing to work flexible hours when needed, including occasional overtimeTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS May have to travel to other golf courses, industry trade shows or parts vendors (>5% of time)PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.40hrs/week and one day per summer season weekendOffice Environment:Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.Golf Course Environment:The primary physical environment in which this position works is out of doors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, lightning, etcThe degree of strenuous activity within the job is considered to be high. Often lifting a weight of 50 pounds throughout the day is common.Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with heavy tools or equipment.Exposure to: Chemicals required for turf disease management, cleaning, de-greasing, and painting Ultra Violet radiation from the sun enhanced through lack of atmospheric filtration at work altitude. Fumes produced in activities ranging from cleaning to painting to fabrication of metal products. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
