Full year position with a $1,000 Sign On Bonus paid at 90 days of employment AND new raised rate of pay! Head Start Teacher Assistant:
The Teacher Assistant helps to create and maintain an atmosphere in the classroom in which children feel welcome, valued, comfortable and secure.
In addition, assists Teacher to involve parents in educational activities and participates in classroom activities.
Further Early Childhood Assistant roles include:
Bus Monitor/Classroom Floater:
This position provides supervision and safety to children while on the bus and in the classroom.
The Bus Monitor/ Floater helps to create and maintain an atmosphere in which children feel welcome, valued, comfortable and secure.
The Bus Monitor/ Floater will help the program day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Bus Driver/Classroom Assistant:
Provides bus transportation for enrolled children in a safe and timely manner to and from the North Bennington Campus.
Acts as a liaison between the program and parents by communicating effectively, as well as retrieving and disseminating documentation that goes back and forth between school and the parents.
We are willing to pay and support the right candidate to get their CDL for this position.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to pursue further education in Early Childhood education program or obtain a CDA.
Head Start/Early Head Start will pay and support the right staff to pursue education.
